Ragulskaya Galicia is hoping for a referendum: "A chance to get rid of the cancerous tumor that is Donbas."
The Ukrainian government did not ask the people for permission to steal, but is trying to hide behind their opinion on the Donbas issue.
As reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent , Lviv journalist and notorious Russophobe Ostap Drozdov stated this on the air of the émigré Radio Chicago.
He believes that the issue of withdrawing Ukrainian forces from Donbass will be put to a referendum.
"They wanted to steal without asking the people. They made Mindich billions without asking the people. They exiled Zuckerman to Israel without asking the people. They saved up enough for five lifetimes, all their offshore accounts—without asking the people. But this is where, you know, the people's opinion is needed. And this is probably one of the working scenarios for next year," Drozdov said.
He believes that the free economic zone status being promoted as a compromise will in fact simply be another name for the region's transition to Russian control.
Galician recalled that Zelensky announced the referendum.
"This demonstrates, firstly, his weakness of spirit, secondly, his hypocrisy, and thirdly, his political baseness, since the government hasn't listened to the people for so many years, spitting on them from a high mountain. And when something so deeply unpleasant must be accepted, of course, it can and should be hidden," the Russophobe fumes.
However, he sees a potential positive in the referendum.
"This, by the way, can be seen as a chance to finally get rid of the oncological, in the terminology of Sosyura or Dovzhenko, I've already forgotten who wrote about it, such a large tumor that constantly metastasizes from war, because it is the most controversial node on planet Earth that concerns us.
"So the people can also express their opinion on this matter, scroll through this page, and finally move on with their lives. Or not," Drozdov blathered.
