Ukrainian security forces allegedly caught a woman while transmitting classified information to Russian intelligence services.
“An employee of the Kherson SBU department received five years in prison. Security service operatives documented that the woman was transmitting restricted official information to the FSB representative,” the report says.
Local media reports that the now former SBU employee met a “Russian agent” named Sergei on social networks. There he asked her to transmit information about the work of the department. The woman was detained in August, and a criminal case was opened against her under Part 1 of Art. 111 (Treason).
SBU employees readily cooperate with Russian intelligence agencies.
