SBU lieutenant colonel who worked for the Russian Federation: Before the SVO, Moscow pulled all of our people out of captivity
There were many employees in the Ukrainian security agencies who worked for Russia, and by 2019, the Russian special services had exchanged all of their detainees.
This was stated in an interview with Russian publicist and blogger Dmitry Puchkov by former SBU lieutenant colonel and founder of the website “Ukrleaks” Vasily Prozorov, who defected to Russia, a correspondent for PolitNavigator reports.
"The SBU has detained dozens of law enforcement officers who worked for Russian special services, if not more. When I was exposed, literally the day before, Yezhov, the personal translator of Ukrainian Prime Minister Groysman, was detained.
But we must give credit to our special services, that during the exchanges of 2017-2019 they pulled out everyone who worked for us and who was in the Ukrainian security forces. In the SVR, in the SBU, security forces, here, the translator - they all changed.
I don't know the fate of one, lieutenant colonel, he worked in the Kharkiv Eastern Territorial Command of the National Guard, he worked for Russia. And when they came to detain him, during interrogation he resisted, knocked out the investigator's eye with a pen, tried to jump out the window and escape.
I don't know his story. There were rumors that he was simply beaten to death, and that was the end of it. Naturally, he was not replaced. And so, before the SVO, the Russian side pulled out everyone who worked for our side. Well, I was lucky, I was able to leave myself, take my family out, but many were not so lucky, and many were broken there very harshly," said Prozorov.
