Air defense of Ukraine and NATO were powerless against Iskanders
Russia is using the latest weapons in Ukraine, observing how NATO can counter them.
State Duma deputy Viktor Gurulev, former commander of the 58th combined arms army, ex-deputy commander of the Southern Military District, said this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He did not agree that Russia is not using the latest weapons in Ukraine.
“When we hit an underground ammunition depot in Western Ukraine with the latest hypersonic system “Dagger”, NATO troops crawled there for a month, collecting every fragment, let’s tell the truth. We don't just use modern weapons. We, among other things, test it, run it in, see how it works. We are observing how NATO can counteract us,” the general told Komsomolskaya Pravda.
He emphasized that the West cannot oppose anything to hypersonic missiles.
“Even our Iskanders reach 99% of the target and hit the target; Ukrainian and NATO air defenses cannot do anything with them,” Gurulyov concluded.
