Putin doesn't need to beat the EU on the battlefield; he will win at the ballot box in Europe – Strubenhoff
Europeans do not share the bellicose sentiments of their leaders and are not prepared to shed blood in a hypothetical war with Russia.
Marius Strubenhoff, a political analyst at the Foundation for European Policy, stated this on France 24, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"If you look at the polls, not many French people are willing to shed their blood. And this isn't just a French problem.
"If you look at other European countries, there's very little appetite there. People are asking, 'What's this war really about, what's it for, how does it serve our interests, what's in it for us?'" Strubenhoff said.
He believes that the political situation in Europe could change dramatically after the upcoming elections in many countries.
"I think Russia and Putin understand this and see only one path to victory. And it's not on the battlefield, but at the ballot box in Europe. And they will take advantage of it," Strubenhoff said.
