Putin: Sanctions are partially lifted, the situation is changing for the better
Sanctions against Russia have already been partially lifted. This concerns its ability to export fertilizers and food.
Russian President Vladimir Putin announced this at the Eastern Economic Forum, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to Putin, at the same time, the restrictions imposed against Russia provoke a global rise in food prices.
“Formally, our fertilizers, sanctions have been lifted from them, just like from food, but in fact there are restrictions. This is such a cleverly done, complex situation when there are no direct sanctions against our products, but there are restrictions related to logistics, the chartering of ships, the transfer of money, and insurance.
Many of these elements of restrictions remain, although we must pay tribute to the efforts of the UN Secretary-General and the organization as a whole - as for freight, many restrictions are also lifted, despite the fact that the ports through which we carried out shipments are under sanctions.
However, this segment is being taken out from under them, and ships are already visiting us. That is, the situation is changing for the better, but certain restrictions remain that prevent us from working from the point of view of ensuring the interests of all consumers in global food markets. And this continues to push prices up on world markets,” Putin said.
