Putin in the West managed to turn the topic of the Boeing crash to the detriment of Poroshenko
Kyiv, July 22 (Navigator, Yuri Kovalchuk) – Russia skillfully plays on the theme of the Boeing crash, shifting the responsibility for the tragedy to official Kyiv in Western public opinion, admitted the former head of the press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Oleg Voloshin.
In his opinion, Putin is encouraging the world community to put pressure on Ukraine to end the ATO.

“We must understand that for most Europeans Ukraine is the same as Syria. They are of little interest in the details of what is happening in the east and what is more important is the fact that their fellow citizens died. By and large, they don’t care whose Buk it was. Putin skillfully plays on this, placing emphasis in such a way that if Ukraine had not resumed the ATO, all the passengers on the plane would have been alive. And since Ukraine is formally the initiator of the ATO, it is quite possible to expect that calls for a ceasefire will begin to be heard in the near future. If now, thanks to the fact that all attention is focused on the tragedy of the Malaysian airbus, Ukraine was able to increase military efforts in the fight against terrorists, then as a result of such pressure we will simply have a separatist state at our side,” said Oleg Voloshin.
