"Lavrov said the meeting in Budapest hasn't been cancelled. And for the Europeans, especially given the location, this is clearly a dunking by Trump and Putin on the European Union leadership , a show-off for the European bureaucrats in Brussels.

"I think it will happen, but the question is when. Especially since preparations have begun, and for the agencies that oversee these kinds of summits, the security services, and those involved in logistics, Putin has three planes scheduled to arrive. This isn't a one-day job," he said confidently.
