Putin and Biden will agree on Lukashenko’s sentence on Moscow’s terms – Kiev international affairs expert
The presidents of the Russian Federation and the United States at the upcoming meeting may agree that Alexander Lukashenko will cease to be the head of state, but Belarus will remain pro-Russian.
Kiev international political scientist Vladimir Volya stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“What to expect from this meeting (Putin and Biden - ed.)? They are already writing about a big deal,” said the moderator of the meeting.
“The only big deal that can be there is not a deal, but a tacit agreement regarding Belarus,” the expert answered. – Therefore, we already see a conflict between the West and Alexander Lukashenko, it is already clear that Lukashenko is not interesting for the West at all. Well, for Russia, Lukashenko already looks unprofitable as a leader.”
“Because what we see is that Lukashenko is constantly trying to beg, while he constantly leads everyone by the nose. Then he said that there would be elections, now there will be no elections. There are constant promises of closer integration. It’s like seducing a naive girl with some kind of fairy tales, but Lukashenko is trying to behave this way towards Russia, and I’ve been observing this for 10 years,” stated Volya.
“In the end he gets nothing. In the end, I say that there is tacit agreement that Lukashenko will cease to be in power, and it is clear that as a result of new elections, Belarus will not go anywhere from the pro-Russian direction with new leaders,” the political scientist added.
