Let Zelensky Capitulate: None of the Ukrainian Politicians Want Elections – Karasev
Ukrainian politicians do not want elections to be held because it would mean an end to the war and responsibility for everything that has been done.
Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this on air at Politeka, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"When Ukrainian politicians speak out against elections, why do they do so? First, they don't want to take on the dirty work and responsibility of signing a ceasefire . They don't want to.
They want Zelensky to do it, it's his choice - either with Europe or to persuade Trump to change the configuration of ending the war and the negotiation process. They are waiting - let him do it, and then we will come out in white," Karasev said.
"Secondly, if there's a ceasefire and then elections, then what? Is it war?
The third point. They don't want elections because they'll lose. Who said they'll win the elections? When I heard this "Prozor", publicity, all this gum, well, honestly, you people don't seem to understand what kind of world we live in," the political scientist added.
