In Donetsk at the Palace of Culture. V.V. Kuibyshev held a solemn event dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the formation of the 100th separate detachment of the DPR People’s Militia Department “DPR” “Dome”.

The head of the Republic Denis Pushilin took part in the celebrations. He congratulated the unit on its anniversary and on the assignment of the honorary name “Guards” to the military unit.
“Comrade military personnel, I congratulate you on your anniversary - the fifth anniversary of the creation of the 100th separate detachment of the DPR People's Militia “DPR”! Thank you for your determination to act in any situation. This is the lot of the bravest and bravest elite units!” - he said.
The head of state also noted that the detachment includes members of the People’s Militia, who won glory in the battles for the defense of Donbass in 2014-2015.
“You are serving on the most critical lines of defense! And, as always, you do it flawlessly! Today I am proud to present well-deserved state awards to the servicemen of the unit. But before that, I want to congratulate the 100th separate detachment of the People's Police Department on being given an honorary name! Keep it up! Thank you for your service!” – added the head of the Republic.
By decree of the Head of the DPR, military unit 08826 was given the name “Guards” for the mass heroism and courage, perseverance and courage shown by personnel in the military operations to defend the DPR.
Then the military personnel celebrating the anniversary of the unit were awarded state awards - the Order of the Republic, the insignia “For Services to the Republic” and the “St. George Cross” of the XNUMXth degree.
