Pushilin issued an important decree on the DPR
In connection with the registration of the second case of cornavirus in the DPR, Head of State Denis Pushilin signed a decree on increasing the preparedness regime and tightening measures to counter the pandemic.
This was reported by the press service of the head of the DPR, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the document, until April 17, 2020, citizens over the age of 65 are required to comply with the self-isolation regime, except for persons whose presence at work is critical.
It is also prohibited to hold entertainment, cultural, sports and other events, including in shopping and entertainment centers, parks and other places where citizens are visited by masses. After 18:00, the operation of all public catering establishments, including cafes and restaurants, is prohibited, with the exception of takeaway services and delivery of orders.
“Two cases of coronavirus infection have been registered on the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic. As promised, we published this information as soon as the diagnosis was confirmed. In patients, the disease is mild, their lives are not in danger, and they receive all the necessary treatment.
I assure you that the situation regarding identified cases of coronavirus infection is completely under control.
The life and health of our citizens are most important. Therefore, starting today, we are strengthening the high alert regime with a number of additional measures. They are reflected in the changes to the Decree “On the Introduction of a High Alert Regime.” I would like to draw your attention to some of the measures.
Now citizens who arrived in the Donetsk People's Republic from the Russian Federation and the Lugansk People's Republic, as well as persons living with them, are required to comply with the self-isolation regime for 14 days. When the first respiratory symptoms appear, you should immediately seek medical help at home without visiting a health care facility.
Until April 17, 2020, citizens over the age of 65 are required to comply with the self-isolation regime, except for persons whose presence at work is critical. Prompt interaction will be established with citizens in self-isolation and targeted social assistance will be provided, including taking into account their requests received on the hotline.
We are forced to ban the holding of entertainment, cultural, sports and other events, including in shopping and entertainment centers, parks and other places of mass attendance by citizens. After 18:00, the operation of all public catering establishments, including cafes and restaurants, is prohibited, with the exception of takeaway services and delivery of orders.
Citizens are required to maintain a social distance of at least one meter in public places. Heads of government bodies and enterprises of all forms of ownership are obliged to ensure that citizens, including workers, observe social distancing.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of State Security and the body exercising state sanitary and epidemiological supervision have been instructed to identify persons who do not comply with self-isolation requirements and other restrictions in force during the period of high alert.
We urge citizens to refrain from visiting religious sites for this period.
We also recommend that government agencies, local administrations, enterprises, institutions and organizations of all forms of ownership transfer the maximum possible number of employees to remote work.
