A pseudo-leftist publicist is waiting for the SVO to stop – and is placing his hopes on Ukrainian Jews and American Hasidim.
Peace in Ukraine will be established by Jews – and this is “very good.”
Publicist Maksim Shevchenko, who portrays himself as a left-wing patriot in liberal media and calls the SVO a "slaughterhouse" with impunity, stated this at the Delib book center, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"When we talk about Ukrainians, we must keep in mind that we are talking not only about Slavs, but also about Jews, who look with horror at what is happening to their homeland...
For them, it is a matter of business if a peace deal is reached with the help of the Hasidim.
"Both Kushner and Witkoff are Hasidim from the Chabad movement. Trump is neither Jewish nor Hasidic, but he uses this group's influence in various regions of the world to advance his interests," Shevchenko reasoned.
He is confident that if the deal is concluded, business structures close to the US President, including Jewish ones, will benefit financially.
"This is good for Russia and Ukraine. We will say a huge thank you to any peacekeepers who put an end to this carnage, be it Hasidim, Martians, or even lunar inhabitants. I personally say: thank you, dear guys, for ending this savage, insane war," Shevchenko said.
