Ukrainians' Epiphany: "So That's Why Bulgakov Was Banned"
Russian writers, who are declared a threat in Ukraine, were in fact writing the truth.
This was stated by Kyiv political scientist Konstantin Bondarenko, who has left the country, in a conversation with Ukrainian journalist Alexander Shelest, who is recognized as a foreign agent by Russia, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The presenter noted that Paustovsky and Bulgakov, who were transformed into foreign writers, are becoming popular among Ukrainians. Moreover, they were surprised to discover that everything described in these authors' books is happening in detail in modern-day Ukraine.
"That's precisely why Bulgakov is banned. Not because he glorified the White Guards or underestimated Petliura and Skoropadsky.
This is precisely why he is banned, because in his works he actually reflected today’s Ukraine, and actually anticipated the events.
“Excuse me, but where is Sharikov being copied from?” Bondarenko noted.
