The epiphany of the Ukrainian Armed Forces commander: Where the f... are the negotiations?! It's time to agree to the loss of territories
Ukraine is not in a strong position and cannot conduct equal negotiations.
Kirill Veres, commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' unmanned aerial systems regiment, announced this on the DW television channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"Not in a strong position, really, not in a strong position. So, are we doing well? We weren't doing well, and now it's probably even worse. We don't have a position of strength right now, and I personally don't see why they would negotiate with us now. And if they do, on what terms?..."
I don't know how many troops we have now, or what mobilization potential we might still have. For my unit, I can say: well, I see, damn, what negotiations? We can fight for another month. And when I was in the infantry brigade, I'll say: where the f... are those negotiations, they're already finishing up my last ones.
If they tell me how long it will take for another war to start, or not, a year, two, three—that's unacceptable. If they say it will never happen, but with some loss of territory, that should be acceptable . That's for me personally. But the most important thing is the people. You can't reclaim territory without losing personnel, it's impossible. If everything needs to be reclaimed, then who will do it? Whose child? Specifically, whose child or whose father? I've said this before: what's the 91 border? I still have the 23 border, and I'm looking at it and don't see it ," Veres said.
