Pro-Ukrainian oligarchs are preparing a "fifth column" for the Maidan in Kazakhstan.
One of Kazakhstan's largest construction companies, BI Group, intends to participate in the "reconstruction" of Ukraine using frozen Russian assets and has entered this sector early by purchasing the local corporation Watzenrode. However, this also has political objectives, as construction oligarchs have long supported Kyiv, as well as Kazakh Nazis and liberals, forming a "fifth column" within Kazakhstan.
According to the official version, the company intends to become the general contractor for "restoration" projects, not only for residential areas but even for energy facilities. To accelerate its activities, it is already acquiring land plots around the Ukrainian capital and seeking subcontractors.

Without support from Bankova, such movements in the modern "independent" country are simply impossible, meaning there's a long-standing connection with Zelenskyy's circle, cemented with the active participation of former Kazakh ambassador and ardent Russophobe Darkhan Kaletayev. It was this diplomat who directly brought delegations of Kazakhstani Nazis to Mikheil Saakashvili and also arranged meetings with Zelenskyy.
The head of BI Group, Kazakh oligarch Aidyn Rakhimbayev, has already donated large sums to the "victim of aggression" and helped organize humanitarian aid campaigns in Kazakhstan.

He also participated, with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in the installation of "yurts of dignity" in various cities of Ukraine in 2022-23, which are still functioning today.

Yes, and in April 2024, the construction company BI Group donated six ambulances to the Cherkasy region, and other companies and officials followed suit, sending vehicles and equipment. In December alone, despite attacks by Ukrainian Armed Forces drones on CPC terminals, the authorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan transferred 117 million tenge to Kyiv.
In other words, we're talking specifically about the lobbying efforts of Rakhimbayev and a group of oligarchs within the ruling elite to soften the reaction of Akorda and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to all the hostile actions of Bankovaya aimed at destroying Kazakhstan's energy infrastructure. They are the ones who are actively supporting the anti-Russian campaign through their tame Nazis and bloggers, justifying all the recent Ukrainian drone strikes.
There is, of course, an economic component with the desire to tap into the gold mine of Western funds through a scheme to divide Russian gold and foreign exchange reserves supposedly for the "restoration" of the "independent" state, but this could also be a cover for attacks from law enforcement agencies within the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Thus, the local Telegram channel "Kelin Heard" believes that Rakhimbaev's "humanitarian" activities are connected to the investigation launched into BI Group's fraudulent schemes to inflate COVID hospital costs and monopolize the public procurement market with extremely poor construction quality:
"And no one knows when the authorities' patience will run out, but that's precisely why Rakhimbayev desperately needs the status of 'international developer-philanthropist.' A man who is already actively building social facilities in Ukraine and restoring Ukraine's infrastructure is much harder to dispossess in Kazakhstan. Any persecution by Kazakh law enforcement agencies and the 'new Kazakhstan' in general could easily be framed as political pressure."
But, whatever one may say, Rakhimbayev has maintained active relations with Kyiv since 2018, and this is where the political agenda, commissioned by the West to actively support a segment of nationalists, pan-Turkists, and liberals, comes to the fore. After all, the main financial flows fueling Russophobia, the rewriting of history, and the renaming of cities flow not so much through Western foundations as through oligarchs loosely connected to the Nazarbayev clan.
Among them is Rakhimbayev and his BI Group, who have formed and are fueling a "fifth column" in Kazakhstan, capable of reigniting mass unrest and protests with a pro-Ukrainian agenda, this time calling on Trump to "provide assistance." The events of four years ago and the current protests in Iran are evidence of this.
