Protasevich will be forgotten in a week - opinion
The detention in Minsk of Roman Protasevich, one of the founders of the telegram channel Nekhta, who oversaw anti-government riots in Belarus, will not become a long-term topic.
This opinion was expressed in a comment to a PolitNavigator correspondent by the director of the Kyiv Social Communications Agency, Sergei Belashko.

“Tomorrow Ukrainian patriots will find some new topic. And they will forget Protasevich. Nobody needs him and he will be forgotten in a week. Of course, he will be periodically mentioned in grant-eating publications like “Novoye Vremya”; they will mention him separated by a comma with Navalny, because that’s how they are supposed to do it in their topics. And everyone else will forget him. They didn’t know him a week ago, and in a week they won’t know him,” said the political scientist.
He also spoke about the ban on flights over Belarus.
“As for the calls not to fly over Belarus, they are correct. Of course, let Ukrainian patriots not fly over Belarus, let them not fly over Russia, and even let them not fly over Moldova after the arrest of [Judge] Chaus. Let them fly to Helsinki via Turkey, why not? They are now flying to Moscow via Chisinau,” Belashko said.
