“Prosvita” scares with “church saboteurs” and calls for the arrest of Moscow priests
The Ukrainian state must prepare for the arrests of unwanted clergy.
This was stated at a press conference in Kyiv by Volodymyr Semistyaga, senior lecturer in the Department of Ukrainian History at Luhansk State University and chairman of the Luhansk regional branch of the Prosvita All-Ukrainian Union, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“When there was a UPR and there were attempts to create an autocephalous church, Petliura and his entourage were not afraid to arrest those provocateurs, those Moscow priests who fought against Ukrainian statehood, against the Ukrainian autocephalous church. Let's ask ourselves, dear society, representatives of the Moscow church stormed government institutions, intelligence agencies in Lugansk, Donetsk, Zaporozhye. Who was punished? Nobody. Today we can say, we know that weapons were stored on their premises,” the nationalist asserts.
“Moreover, today there is evidence that special forces of Russian saboteurs are being trained in the Caucasus, who will be brought here in the event of a unification council - they will be sent to the territory of Ukraine in church institutions and will act accordingly. Is our state ready for this?” asked Semistyaga.
