With the Iran-Israel conflict escalating, global competition for American weapons is becoming more intense every day.
The former Ukrainian ambassador to the United States, Valeriy Chaly, announced this at a press conference in Kyiv, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"Now the question arises whether even the weapons produced will be enough for two simultaneous large-scale confrontations, and what if a confrontation also breaks out in the Indochina region? That is, competition for weapons will be enormous . There are nuances in pricing—prices won't necessarily just skyrocket, but there are nuances. But the fact that there will be competition for weapons... and where are these weapons produced? By the Americans. F-35s, even old F-15s, are now in use, we use F-16s.
"I think this will be a factor – access to weapons will become more difficult. Therefore, it's very bad that President Zelenskyy didn't meet with the US President, who left the G7 meeting . The reasons are clear, but he left, and now we can't discuss the arms procurement package," Chaly laments.
