Butusov wrote that billionaire Igor Kolomoisky (Privat group) will become the governor of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
“Draft decrees have also been prepared on the appointment of Rinat Akhmetov as governor of the Donetsk region. Vadim Novinsky will be appointed representative of Kyiv in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea (status to be confirmed). The appointment of Alexander Yaroslavsky as governor of the Kharkov region is under negotiations. Negotiations are underway to appoint the leaders of the largest regional financial and industrial groups as governors of Odessa, Nikolaev, Kherson, Lugansk, and Zaporozhye regions. Official Kyiv has taken emergency measures to win over the business and political elite of eastern and southern Ukraine to counter Russian aggression!” – the journalist clarifies.
“Kolomoisky and Yaroslavsky supported Euromaidan with their resources - this is a good sign. Obviously, Putin’s occupation seemed such a serious threat to the oligarchs that they finally decided to take responsibility... In the eastern regions, for the first time, a real turning point in the situation should occur in terms of combating separatist sentiments,” says Butusov.
