“Industry is being ruined” – Zemlyansky on cutting off Ukrainian enterprises from gas
A gas shortage on the European market could lead to unauthorized withdrawal of gas from the Ukrainian gas transmission system, as well as the shutdown of a number of Ukrainian enterprises.
Energy expert Valentin Zemlyansky stated this on the PolitWera channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Why did this story appear at all - that unauthorized selection is possible. Because of which? The European market does not have the necessary volumes of gas, a necessary resource, for contractual obligations to be fulfilled by all countries.
This could become a serious problem. And the second problem is the question of money. That is, even if you purchase 20-30 million per day (and they will be needed in February), you will run out of money by the end of the month,” he noted.
“So, to be honest, I don’t have an answer to the question yet. Most likely, they will follow the path of restricting industrial enterprises. Makogon said about this that regional gas companies have been given priority lists of enterprises that, in the event of a gas shortage, must be disconnected from the gas supply and the volume of supplies reduced.
We are talking about industry. The industry is being ruined not only by price, but also by the lack of resources,” the expert concluded.
