At the location of the deployment, a clash occurred between the reservists and the command, the Vgorod portal reports.
The soldiers called to the reserve protested the conditions of their detention and noted violations of their rights and legislation: instead of the promised 10 days, they were already kept in the unit for more than 40 days. They complained: despite the laws adopted, most of them were fired from their jobs and are now in dire need of financial assistance to support their families.
In response, the command tried to pacify the rioters, for which they had to use weapons. The officers fired several warning shots, which helped stop the uncontrolled development of events.
“There was not a riot in the 93rd separate mechanized brigade,” said Vadim Arakelyan, deputy military prosecutor for oversight of compliance with the law in the military sphere in the Dnepropetrovsk region. – In fact, among those mobilized there are several people who are tired of serving and want to go home. The unit commander tried to calm them down, but he was unable to do so. Therefore, the captain of military service had to use weapons. He shot into the ground."
The prosecutor's office stated that a prosecutor's investigation into this fact is being carried out.
Let us recall, as Navigator reported, in early April, in military unit No. 3036 of the Internal Troops of Ukraine, the mobilized also staged a riot and called the press: during the 10-day military training, the men were not taught anything and were kept in a tent camp. The Ministry of Defense denied improper work with the mobilized .
