“They’ve been trying to serve him a summons for two weeks now. We believe that there is a crime, and the suspicion has been signed, but we cannot serve it because we cannot find the addressee,” the Delo publication quotes Zaporozhye region prosecutor Alexander Shatsky, who is Sin’s long-time opponent.
In addition, today deputy of the Zaporozhye City Council Gennady Rekalov held a press conference at which he called the mayor a traitor: they say that the mayor abandoned the city and does not deal with issues of housing and communal services, temporary shelters, avoids the prime minister and disrupts sessions.
As local media quote the deputy, according to him, the mayor has changed a lot after the scandalous meeting with people's deputy Oleg Lyashko, who arrived at the December session of the City Council. Rekalov assures that Sin “got starstruck” after sending the radical.
At the same time, the mayor himself has repeatedly stated that an information war is being waged against him on the eve of local elections, including representatives of Rinat Akhmetov.
