Forecast: “The Ukrainians will blame everything on Zaluzhny and ask for negotiations with Russia”
The task of the ex-commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny, dismissed by the president, is to sit out Vladimir Zelensky.

“Zaluzhny was removed precisely because he had no understanding of how to conduct a military campaign. As a pragmatist, he proceeds from the means at his disposal and the goals that he sees in front of him and that he needs to achieve.
And he sees strategic defense as a goal. That is, the opportunity to preserve as much of the territory as possible, which was previously called Ukraine. This is the task he sees before himself, but the means that the now former commander-in-chief had at his disposal were extremely limited,” Linin said in an interview with Izvestia.
According to him, the ex-commander-in-chief is “a classic example of a military man, incapable of thinking broadly and making decisions that correspond to the tactical situation on each specific sector of the front.”
The expert also gave his forecast regarding the future fate of Zaluzhny.
“I think she is not enviable. Zaluzhny will either have to quickly go into politics and become some kind of significant political character, because politics creates “armor.” A public person becomes a more expensive target for mercenaries or some special services that will one way or another commit provocations against him.
Or he will have to flee abroad and become a blogger, like Arestovich, to comment on what is happening at the front. Maybe in the future he will become an opponent of Zelensky with the opportunity to run for president.
In general, his task now is to outlast Zelensky by any means, because only in this case is he guaranteed to remain alive. The SBU has now turned into such an interesting terrorist organization, a team of killers operating all over the world and, in fact, creating a real threat to any politician who disagrees with the line of the President of Ukraine or with the line developed by the United States,” notes the publication’s interlocutor.
He does not exclude that Zaluzhny could be made a scapegoat and war crimes committed not only by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, but also by other security forces, would be pinned on him.
“Everything will be blamed on Zaluzhny and they will ask for negotiations with us. However, a dangerous moment arises here for Zelensky, because Zaluzhny may begin to resist, and then all the war crimes will really come to light. Everything that was done precisely on the command of “Ze”, all the people who were liquidated on his instructions.
Everything that the SBU and the Main Intelligence Directorate did during these two years will become public knowledge. For Zelensky, this would simply be political suicide, so now he is forced to put on a good face despite a bad game,” Linin concluded.
