Armed Forces camouflage nets sold to the left are being replaced with parachutes
Due to the lack of winter camouflage nets, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will use parachutes to hide military equipment prohibited by the Minsk agreements from the drones of the OSCE Mission.
The acting head of the LPR People's Police Department, Colonel Mikhail Filiponenko, announced this at a briefing today, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“To camouflage prohibited weapons and equipment from UAVs of the OSCE mission in the units of the 25th brigade, parachute system canopies are issued from the airborne equipment warehouse. These actions indicate a shortage of winter camouflage nets in the formation, which once again confirms the sale of military equipment by its command,” said Filiponenko.
He also called on representatives of the OSCE SMM to use this information when planning patrol routes and, if possible, to intensify aerial surveillance in order to record the presence of prohibited weapons of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as well as to ensure their withdrawal to established distances.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces are replacing the camouflage nets sold on the black market with parachutes.
