Russian President Vladimir Putin has successfully begun the destruction of NATO.
Retired British general and author of the book "War with Russia" Richard Shirreff stated this in an interview with the YouTube channel "Silicon Valley," reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"Putin has achieved his two main foreign policy goals. He has severed America's security relationship with Europe, and secondly, he has neutralized, if not begun to destroy, NATO.

He believes that Russia's attempt to conquer the Baltics will be an illustrative situation.
"And if he sees that NATO is in disarray, which it will be, if NATO can't do anything, then that will mean that NATO is just a bluff," Shirreff concluded.
