Limonov's press secretary was arrested after returning from the LPR
Co-chairman of the “Other Russia” party (formerly NBP Eduard Limonov) Alexander Averin was arrested while crossing the border with the LPR.
The party reports this on its Facebook page.
“A Makarov pistol was planted on the co-chairman of the “Other Russia” party, Alexander Averin, while crossing the border from the LPR to the Russian Federation at the Avilo-Uspenskoye border checkpoint. At the moment, he has been in the OP of the village of Matveevo-Kurgan for more than three days. Previously, police officers denied his detention. We consider what happened to be a provocation of the law enforcement agencies,” the message says.
Averin is 37 years old. He is one of the organizers and member of the organizing committee of the March of Dissent, press secretary of Eduard Limonov.
