The Ukrainian army is unable to overcome the powerful defensive lines that Russia has built in the southern direction since last fall.
Ukrainian military expert Oleg Starikov stated this on the internet blog "Yes, That's True," reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Moreover, according to Starikov, this construction continues and we can already talk about four or five lines of defense.
“After a successful, wonderful autumn campaign of 22, when the Kharkov and Kherson regions were liberated, we moved on to the winter campaign. There was an extended board of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, where Putin was present. What did they decide there? I said that they decide, I said that it will happen, but no one cares: that’s it, the Russians will run.”
Surovikin says: “We will withdraw the troops and build something.” No one needs attention. In six months they built such defense lines that, according to all the standards of military science and military art... It is impossible to overcome them, again, according to the standards of military science and art. It has never been - neither the Maginot Line, nor above, the Finns have ever been overcome. And here it is impossible to overcome them,” the expert said.
"Why? Even if now we have passed the first line in Rabotino, and they have a second there, a third. They are already building a fourth. It turns out that we will overcome the first line, and then the second. And they have already built, it turns out that there is a fourth line, they are already building a fifth - it is impossible to overcome, there are not enough people and there is not enough equipment,” Starikov said.
