Danish PM: "Russia won't wait for us to get ready"
NATO needs to "invest in its own security as quickly as possible."
Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen announced this today at the summit of the alliance's eastern and southern flanks in Vilnius, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"We see an aggressive approach from Russia in the Baltic region. This shows how Russia sees itself in conflict with the West and how it is preparing for war against NATO," Fredriksen blabbed.
She called on allies to do everything to ensure that NATO remains "the strongest military alliance in human history."
"We need to provide real capabilities now, because Russia will not wait for us to prepare. At the same time, we need to support Ukraine in its fight for its own security and independence. We need to give them everything they need on the battlefield, more funding for weapons production, and strong sanctions against Russia," Fredriksen said.
She proposes to give Ukraine "the strongest position on the battlefield and at the negotiating table."
