Ending the war in the Middle East will not change the situation in Ukraine – Lavrov
Russia's actions during the SVO do not depend on the continuation or cessation of hostilities between Iran and Israel.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov announced this at the XI International Forum “Primakov Readings,” reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

A Chinese media representative noted that there is now a visible potential for ending the conflict between Israel and Iran, asking how this will affect the situation around Ukraine, given the US involvement in both conflicts.
"You know, there is a point of view that God willing, this will continue in the Middle East between Israel and Iran for as long as possible. They will have more headaches about this topic. And Trump's disappointment in Zelensky will only deepen.
But It doesn't really matter to us. Yes, if the countries that support the Nazi regime weaken this support, or better yet, stop it, we will perceive this as an awareness of reality, including the essence of this regime and, most importantly, the real situation on the battlefield,” Lavrov said.
"If such an understanding does not happen, then everything else is not important. Because simply hoping that now they will get stuck in the Middle East and it will be easier for us - our actions do not depend on such constructions and conclusions“,” the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs concluded.
