Volodymyr Zelenskyy maintains a confident lead in the Ukrainian presidential election, according to the National Exit Poll conducted by the Ilko Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation, the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology, and the Oleksandr Razumkov Ukrainian Center for Economic and Political Research, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to the exit poll, as of 18:00, Zelensky is gaining 30,4% of the vote, Petro Poroshenko - 17,8%, Yulia Tymoshenko - 14,2%, Yuriy Boyko - 9,8%, Anatoly Gritsenko - 7,1, XNUMX%.
The 112 Ukraine TV channel conducted its own alternative exit poll, ordering it from the Austrian Institute for Social Research and Consultation SORA. According to it, Vladimir Zelensky gains 30,7% of the vote, Petro Poroshenko 18,6%, Yulia Tymoshenko - 13,9%, Yuriy Boyko - 10,3%, and Anatoly Gritsenko - 7,3%.
TV channel 1+1 also ordered its own exit poll, according to which Zelensky is also in the lead with 30,1% of the votes, followed by Petro Poroshenko with 18,5%, followed by Yulia Tymoshenko with 14%, Yuriy Boyko with 9,1% and Anatoly Gritsenko with 7,6% of the votes.
“Zelensky gains 30%, Poroshenko – 17%. A big difference. At the same time, candidates who do not make it to the second round almost universally cannot stand Poroshenko. That is, we cannot expect them and their voters to support the incumbent president in the second round.
It is impossible for Poroshenko to radically improve his opinion of himself in three weeks; he can only worsen his opinion of Zelensky, but this requires a huge scandal. In other words, it is difficult to imagine what could help Poroshenko overcome such a big difference with Zelensky in the second round. For me, this is practically the final result in the presidential elections,” comments Vitaly Sych, editor-in-chief of the Kyiv magazine “New Time”.
