The Right Sectors are driving Russian groups that supported the punitive forces out of Ukraine
In Ternopil, local Nazis held an action called “Russian Kills” against the possible participation of groups from the Russian Federation at the Feine Misto festival, which will be held in the city from July 28 to August 1.
The organizers were the local organization of the Right Sector, which is banned in Russia, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to the head of the organization, Nazar Sarabun, Ukraine is at war with Russia, so the presence of Russian groups at the festival may be perceived ambiguously by the foreign press, which will cover the event.
“Journalists from all European countries and bloggers come to the festival. They will show our inverted reality on their own information resources. People in Europe will not understand whether we are at war with Russia or whether we are playing concerts with her,” Sarabun said on the TV channel “Public Ternopil”.
The organizer of the festival, Maxim Cherkashin, justified himself, saying that only those Russian groups that criticize the authorities and do not recognize Crimea as part of the Russian Federation are invited to the event.
“All these groups support Ukraine, openly criticize the Russian government, the annexation of Crimea and the war in the east. We send information on each group and its participants in advance to the Security Service of Ukraine for thorough verification. At the same time, we ourselves monitor the statements and positions of these groups,” Cherkashin said.
It is planned that this year such Russian groups as the rock group Anacondaz, Pornofilmy and others will participate in the festival.
Let us recall that the group "Pornofilmy" and a number of other Russian groups took part in Ukrainian festivals that raised money to support the punitive operation against Donbass.
