"The descendant of our princes Neizhpapa is going to the Crimean Bridge" - General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The “optimism” expressed by the Commander of the Ukrainian Navy Oleksiy Neizhpapa regarding the destruction of the Crimean Bridge on the third attempt is a moral and psychological attack on Russia in the spirit of the Kyiv princes.
The former deputy chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Igor Romanenko, stated this on air at UkrLife, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"He said: 'There is a saying - God loves the trinity.' Why are we telling about this in advance? Maybe this is some kind of tactic," the channel's host was perplexed.
"Historically, we can remember that our prince-ancestor Svyatoslav used such a moral and psychological approach, then there were also elements of a hybrid war, although it was not called that way. This had a great effect on opponents, adversaries and enemies. His famous phrase "I'm coming at you." And then he took and implemented it, Olga's grandson...
Therefore, we need to see. It was Neizhpapa, as an admiral, as a descendant of our Kyiv princes, naturally, at the instigation of the political leadership, who made such a statement that he was going to the bridge. Well, we'll see," Romanenko raved.
At the same time, he agreed that the effect of the attack would not be the same.
"Our military-political leadership is looking for adequate solutions to this issue, and one of them is to blow up this bridge. It would have been very important [earlier], but logistics are still going on. It would have been effective if it had been destroyed when the railway [along the land corridor] had not yet been built.
But this has military, economic, moral and psychological significance. But questions arise about the timeliness and necessity of such actions,” the Ukrainian general admitted.
