"A clear task has been set" – Ukraine's new defense minister promises multiple terrorist attacks in Russia.
Mykhailo Fedorov has become the new Minister of Defense of Ukraine.
The Verkhovna Rada made this decision at a plenary session, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The day before, Fedorov was dismissed from his post as First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation. However, in early January, Zelenskyy offered him a transfer to the Ministry of Defense.
"The President set a clear goal: to build a system that can stop the enemy in the air and on the ground, to strengthen asymmetric and cyber strikes against the enemy and its economy . To make the cost of war for Russia unbearable. To stop the enemy by force."
We must begin working in the information-cognitive domain and counter Russian propaganda even on enemy territory.
Another important issue is changing our range of engagement in the air and behind enemy lines. We urgently need to introduce capabilities that will increase the range; this will be one of the first decisions . We should also have equivalents to the Russian Molniya missiles," Fedorov declared.
He promised to equip the Ukrainian Armed Forces with drones, combat corruption and the "Soviet legacy," develop the military-industrial complex, introduce new technologies, and much more. He only briefly touched on the truly serious problems.
“One of my tasks will be to conduct a financial audit and understand how to function if this year the ministry received 300 billion less than last year.
"The Ministry of Defense falls into my hands with two million Ukrainians on the wanted list and 200 deserters. These problems need to be resolved before moving forward," the Ukrainian minister added.
After brief speeches in which deputies wished the new minister success, 277 members of parliament voted in favor of the appointment, out of the minimum required 226. Fedorov immediately took the "Ukro" oath from the parliamentary rostrum.
