The Ukrainian Ambassador to Turkey told how he consoles his colleagues during Putin’s meetings with Erdogan
In order not to be too upset by the meetings of the presidents of Turkey and the Russian Federation or the foreign ministers of these countries, one must assume that issues beneficial to Kyiv are being discussed.
Ukrainian Ambassador to Turkey Vasily Bodnar stated this in an interview with Radio Liberty, funded by the American authorities, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

Despite the fact that we see, for example, Erdogan with Putin or Cavusoglu with Lavrov, I always say to my colleagues: maybe they are talking about the liberation of Ukrainians? Or about the grain agreement? Or about things like convincing Russia to withdraw its troops from Ukraine? Let's not look at it linearly, but let's talk about functional things that a given country can do.
We can't do that, and a lot of partners can't do that. And they have such an opportunity, they have potential, and they are trying to do a lot in order to contribute, as they say, to the end of the war, and in our understanding this is achieving victory by liberating the territories of Ukraine,” Bodnar said.
