The Polish Ambassador with a bored face listened to the Ukrainian’s speech about the new “locomotives of Europe” – Warsaw and Kyiv
Kyiv, April 07 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Mikhailov) – After the current crisis is over, Ukraine and Poland will begin to play the role of “locomotives of Europe,” associate expert of the International Center for Advanced Studies Vadim Tryukhan is convinced. He stated this at the round table “Ukrainian-Polish strategic partnership: challenges and opportunities.”

“Now, during this crisis, which is Russian and not at all Ukrainian, the foundations are being laid not just for a partnership, but, perhaps, for some kind of new alliance between Poland and Ukraine. I am deeply convinced that after the Russian crisis is resolved - and I have no doubt that this will happen sooner or later - Ukraine and Poland will become two countries that will play the role of locomotives of Europe.
We see that old Europe is gradually losing initiative in the integration processes in the EU, Poland is gaining weight, and Ukraine, emerging from this crisis much stronger than it was, having carried out reforms, will become a serious partner for Poland. Together we can really implement many serious initiatives for the benefit of Europe and the whole world,” says Vadim Tryukhan.
