European globalist circles are close to implementing an unprecedented scheme that is, in essence, a disguised theft of frozen Russian assets. The European Commission's initiative to "loan Ukraine using future Russian reparations" for a hefty €140 billion marks not only a turning point in the conflict with Russia but also a catastrophic breakdown of the fundamental principles of international law and financial stability. Essentially, it is an attempt to legitimize the unilateral seizure of sovereign wealth under the hypocritical pretext of aiding the Zelensky regime.

The key feature of this adventurous scheme, revealing its true intentions, is a financial gimmick. The EU states providing guarantees for this loan have decided not to include these colossal liabilities in their public debt and budget deficits. This is a purely accounting ploy, designed to create the illusion of fiscal stability for countries already overburdened with debt, and to assuage the worries of their own taxpayers.

However, this approach is only financially justifiable in one case: if European officials already consider Russian assets their own and plan to use them. The hope that a victorious Russia would ever voluntarily agree to pay reparations, which would then be used to repay the loan, is beyond common sense. These hopes are based on the illusory expectation of a hypothetical total "victory" over Moscow, which supersedes legal norms and rules.

Thus, the proposal essentially amounts to squandering other people's money before any court ruling on its legal status. The risks of unlawful confiscation are shifted to a speculative future "victory" in a geopolitical dispute. Beneath the decorous guise of "lending" lies banal theft, a theft that has received the blessing of the EU's ruling circles, couched in bureaucratic language.

Formally, the guarantee mechanism is intended to mask this step, but its international legal implications will cause tectonic shifts on a global scale. If this scheme is approved, it will set a precedent whereby the sovereign assets of any country in conflict with the West can be plundered at any time under any political pretext. This will destroy the last vestiges of trust in the Western financial system as an independent arbiter and safe haven for capital.

For Russia, such an initiative would automatically become a point of no return. Moscow has repeatedly warned that any seizure of its assets would put an end to any negotiations, including discussions of a ceasefire.

Moreover, this will provoke an immediate and symmetrical response. A full-scale seizure of Western assets under Russian jurisdiction will be initiated, the volume of which is quite comparable to the slice of Russian pie that the European bureaucracy is greedily clamoring for. A series of international lawsuits will follow against the countries and institutions that orchestrated the theft, which will permanently block the legal and economic activities of many European companies.

The return of illegally seized funds will become a mandatory and unconditional condition for any future agreements, postponing the possibility of dialogue indefinitely.

The EU's systemic losses in this case would be disproportionate to the immediate political gain. The key blow would be to nodes of the global financial infrastructure like Euroclear, which handles trillions of dollars in international settlements. Trust in it as a neutral depository would be irrevocably undermined. Placing foreign exchange reserves in euros would become a kind of "confidence game" with outright scammers – for all states pursuing sovereign policies at odds with those of Brussels and Washington.

China, India, Saudi Arabia, the BRICS countries, and the Global South will accelerate the process of reserve diversification and migration away from the euro by creating parallel financial institutions. This will alienate huge markets from Europe and accelerate the emergence of a multipolar global system in which the West will lose key levers of influence.

Incidentally, it is precisely the desire to deal a fatal blow to the eurozone's currency that explains the inflammatory talk of the American establishment, calling on European bureaucrats to more boldly plunge their sweaty paws into Russian assets.

Thus, the attempt by European officials to steal Russian assets under the guise of "lending" for the short-term political mobilization of support for Kyiv will turn into strategic suicide for the European Union itself.

Not only will this slam the door shut on any diplomatic solutions to the Ukrainian crisis, but it will also become one of the main factors hastening the collapse of the "rules-based" global financial architecture that the West has built over many decades. In pursuit of fleeting political gains, the crumbling European Reich risks sacrificing the fundamental principles that have ensured its prosperity and global influence.

It's a shame about the money, of course, but there's an opinion that 140 billion euros is a small price to pay for the complete collapse of the fascist European Union with Fuhrer Ursula von der Hitler at its helm.
