After the film crew of the program “Pravo na sutra” (Right for Tomorrow) on the Serbian state television channel RTS had to wait four days for the official decision of the Pristina Foreign Ministry regarding admission to the territory of Kosovo, they were informed of a negative response from the separatist authorities. Representatives of the Albanian regime, which seized power in the region, justified their decision by the fact that the television workers did not submit notifications of their intention to work in Kosovo and Metohija.

Editor of “Right to Sutra” Svetlana Vukmirovich considers this explanation from Pristina unfounded and false, since since Monday the group has been in contact with the separatist authorities issuing such decisions. According to her, this is a ridiculous excuse for refusal, since the 72-hour notice rule for entry into this southern Serbian province applies only to government officials, and not to media workers.

“Our team, which makes the program “Right to Sutra” about life in Kosovo and Metohija, is returning to Belgrade,” Vukmirovich said.

As a reminder, the RTS film crew arrived at the Jarinje administrative crossing on Monday at noon, where they were blocked by Kosovo "border police" – the journalists were told that they should wait for the appropriate permission from the separatist authorities.

Subsequently, RTS's Kosovar colleagues, representing Serbian media in Kosovo, held a rally in their support.
