In London, the assets of Ukrainian oligarchs and business partners Igor Kolomoisky and Gennady Bogolyubov were seized. Verkhovna Rada deputy Mustafa Nayem reported this on his Facebook page.

“The main news of the day. The High Court of England issued an order to seize the assets of Igor Kolomoisky and Gennady Bogolyubov around the world, as well as six companies that they allegedly own or control. The decision was made based on the lawsuit of PrivatBank against its former owners.
The order to seize assets was issued based on detailed evidence presented to the court proving that Messrs. Kolomoisky and Bogolyubov siphoned off almost $2 billion from the bank through a series of illegal transactions that resulted in funds being transferred to companies that they secretly owned or were under their control. Through this lawsuit, “PrivatBank” plans to return the funds, the amount of which, together with interest, is more than $2.500.000.000,” Nayem wrote.
This information was later confirmed by the Minister of Finance of Ukraine, Alexander Danylyuk, who said: “We welcome this positive decision of the English court.”
Let's recall that exactly one year ago, as PolitNavigator reported, PrivatBank, which belonged to the Dnipropetrovsk oligarchic clan, was nationalized in Ukraine , after which Kolomiysky went on the warpath against Poroshenko.
Ukrainian politicians believe that after the court's decision in London, we should expect the emergence of scandalous incriminating evidence from Kolomoisky.

“I think we will now learn a lot of interesting things about the Popular Front, Yatsenyuk, the finances of the election campaign and the details of the start of the war in Donbass. And all this through the mouth of Igor Valerievich. Well, it’s not just that Yatsenyuk so often walked with him arm in arm in the harsh 2014, and Ivanchuk was always on the wire,” wrote Oksana Kaletnik, a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of the previous convocation, in the comments to Nayem’s post.
Deputy Minister for Affairs of the so-called “occupied territories” Georgiy Tuka shares a similar opinion.
“A whole series of information explosions awaits us: in addition to purely property issues, Igor Kolomoisky is the owner of a whole echelon of “suitcases of compromising evidence,” the official writes.
Tuka urges not to rejoice at the arrest of Kolomysky’s assets and warns that whoever has the information can “destroy the political system of Ukraine.”
