Portnov will introduce a bill on large-scale lustration of Soros
People who worked in non-governmental organizations, Soros foundations and others should be deprived of the right to hold any government positions in Ukraine for five years.
Ukrainian lawyer Andrei Portnov said this on the TV channel “Ukraine 24”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.

“Tomorrow I will announce a bill amending the lustration law and urge deputies to register it. It will indicate that all people who worked in non-governmental organizations, in foundations, any, Soros and in any public organizations that were financed from abroad - to prohibit them from holding any government positions in the country for 5 years.
I believe that if someone was financed by a foreign state, then by moving to a government position, the person remains dependent on such a foreign state and such an organization. This means that there are no guarantees that he will work in the interests of Ukraine. There are risks that such people will work in the interests of third countries.
Therefore, everyone who worked in the foundations “Vidrodzhennya”, “Transparency International”, in the foundations of some Shabunins and other thieves, no one will have the right to work,” Portnov said.
“Yes, this government most likely will not accept the law, but this is our public position. We will publish this law and call on deputies to register it and vote for it.
Today they won’t accept it, but tomorrow – just like what happened with the UN monitoring mission, demanding the repeal of the amnesty law. Today there is one position, and tomorrow, you know, the water will undermine the stone, there will be a different position,” added the Ukrainian lawyer.
