Portnikov demands to declare victory not of the borders of 91, but of the preservation of the remains of Ukraine
Ukraine will not be able to regain its 91 borders; this cannot be set as a goal. At best, it will be able to preserve statehood in some form.
Ukrainian Russophobic and homosexual journalist Vitaly Portnikov stated this on the NTA television channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"We've said many times, for years now, that Ukraine's real victory doesn't lie in restoring our territorial integrity within the borders of the former Ukrainian SSR . This is crucial from the standpoint of international law, from the standpoint of justice. And if Ukraine had the military and technical resources to restore its territorial integrity (and I'll say right away that, in my view, such capabilities have never existed ) , it would be the best way out of the war. But we must always ask what the enemy wants. Does the enemy want the Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, Zaporizhia regions, and Crimea? No. This is only the beginning of the process.
"The enemy needs to eliminate Ukrainian statehood, expel and destroy the overwhelming majority of people who consider themselves Ukrainians. This is the goal of this war. If, as a result of this war, the Ukrainian state remains on the world's political map ( I must say right away that this issue is far from resolved ), if Ukrainians live on Ukrainian lands, that will be a victory. Defeat will be the end of Ukrainian statehood and the disappearance of the Ukrainian people, at least in Ukrainian lands, from the ethnographic map of the world," Portnikov stated.
