Portnikov prophesies a quarter of a century of war in Donbass
The armed conflict in Donbass, which began in 2014, will continue for decades.
This opinion, as reported by the correspondent of PolitNavigator , is expressed by the Kiev anti-Russian propagandist Vitaly Portnikov.
“This is a war for decades, this low-intensity military conflict will continue as long as Putin is president of the Russian Federation,” Portnikov told Observer.
“We are a country that will be at war for at least another 20-25 years. Unless, of course, Putin’s presidency ends first,” he added.
According to him, if there is a change of power in the Russian Federation, the most that Ukraine can count on in the Donbass is that they can stop shooting in the combat zone.
“This will already be a success,” says the propagandist.
