Poroshenko enacted the decision of the National Security and Defense Council to abolish the special status of Donbass
Kiev, November 15 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko signed a decree that puts into effect the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of November 4 “On urgent measures to stabilize the socio-economic situation in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions.”

Let us note that by this decision the National Security and Defense Council proposes to repeal the law on the special status of Donbass.
"To support the proposal of the President of Ukraine regarding his submission to the Verkhovna Rada, in the established manner, as an urgent matter, of a bill repealing the Law of Ukraine 'On the Special Procedure of Local Self-Government in Certain Districts of the Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts,'" the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine states, as reported on the website of the head of state.
Also, according to this decision, the Cabinet of Ministers must urgently ensure the establishment of a procedure for providing humanitarian aid to the population of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, providing for its marking with the state symbols of Ukraine.
In addition, the government should intensify efforts to inform the public about the military-political situation in the state and about the measures taken by the Ukrainian authorities to provide humanitarian assistance to the population.
The National Security and Defense Council also decided to propose to the National Bank of Ukraine to take measures within a month to stop servicing by banks accounts opened to business entities of all forms of ownership and to the population in certain territories in the ATO area. It is assumed that prisoners should be transferred from Donbass to other regions.
As PolitNavigator reported, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine previously adopted Resolution No. 595, which stipulates the relocation of all budgetary organizations and essential services from the ATO zone. According to Donetsk Mayor Oleksandr Lukyanchenko, this will put pensioners on the brink of survival, and hundreds of thousands of people will lose their jobs.
