Ukrainian political expert Mykhailo Pavliv did not rule out such a development at a press conference in Kyiv, PolitNavigator correspondent reports , answering the question of why the government continues to whip up anti-communist hysteria in the country.

“When some political demand is not supported, not institutionalized by political force, then all this takes on radical forms,” the political scientist emphasized. – If there is no political force that leads and shows the evolutionary legal path, giving an answer to how this request can be achieved through an electoral movement, the masses who have a leftist request begin to look for radical ways to realize their own request. The growth of left-wing sentiments, which are not backed by their own political power, is a threatening reality for Ukraine.”

According to the expert, Yulia Tymoshenko is trying to occupy the center-left niche, but she also does not rule out that new projects of this kind may appear.

“But our spiral of time is so compressed and the spiral of violence is so untwisted that I assess with great caution what is happening now. – Pavliv summed up. – If people do not quickly appear in whom people can channel leftist sentiments, this will lead to real protest sentiments. And not inspired, as is happening mostly now, but to real black riots similar to Konstantinovka and Vradievka. We have a big dissonance between the requests of ordinary people and the messages thrown out by the authorities. The current government is still in a right-wing radical discourse, and society is already migrating to a left-wing discourse.”
