Poroshenko fired the head of his own security
Current Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has dismissed Yuriy Fedorov from his post as head of the presidential security service, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The corresponding decree was published today on the head of state’s website.
“To release Yuri Vitalievich Fedorov from the post of Deputy Head of the Directorate - Head of the Security Service of the President of Ukraine of the State Security Directorate of Ukraine,” the document says.
Yuriy Fedorov was appointed head of the security service of the President of Ukraine in June 2014.
On April 30, the Central Election Commission officially announced the final results of the presidential elections. In the second round, Vladimir Zelensky won, receiving 73,22% of the votes, Poroshenko received 24,45%.
