Speaking at a meeting of the Chambers of the US Congress, he spoke about how deputy Vladimir Rybak, who opposed the rioters, died from torture in Gorlovka, and also about the fact that children are blown up “by separatist mines,” and a Malaysian Boeing 777 was shot down from Russian weapons.
At the same time, he stated that “Ukraine and Russia can overcome the period of hatred,” and spoke about constant contacts with the Russian leadership.
“The pandemic of hatred must be stopped,” Poroshenko said, emphasizing that the tears of the mothers of the dead soldiers of this “are now my burden and the burden of President Putin.”
