“No later than Friday, every Ukrainian home should be warm, the radiators should be warm,” Poroshenko said, adding that this is “the full responsibility of local authorities.”
“We are now carrying out a number of measures that will allow the heating season to pass without obstacles in conditions of limited gas volumes. Your task of heating your homes will be completed on time,” Groysman assured.
Let us note that last weekend, at a meeting in Milan, Poroshenko discussed with Vladimir Putin the signing of a temporary agreement on the purchase of gas at a price of $385 per thousand cubic meters - Moscow agreed to provide Kiev with a $100 discount until the spring, but demands repayment of old debts.
The day before, weather forecasters reported that from October 24 in Ukraine a significant decrease in temperature is expected from 1-7 degrees below zero at night and 0-5 degrees above zero during the day. On October 24, cold weather is expected in the northern, eastern and central regions, and on the 25th - in the west and south of Ukraine. This weather will last almost until the end of this month. Daytime temperatures will reach 1-3 degrees Celsius.
