Poroshenko turned out to be right. What remains behind the scenes of the Gassiev – Usik fight
A boxing match between Ukrainian boxer Alexander Usik and Russian representative Murat Gassiev debunked the myth of total hatred between Ukrainians and Russians.
Moskovsky Komsomolets reported on the fight , recalling that Ukrainian President Poroshenko called Usyk's victory an "approaching victory," rejoicing at the sound of the Ukrainian anthem in Moscow.
The publication notes that the final was held in Moscow, and not in Kiev, Ukraine was not at all among the contenders for hosting at least some WBSS tournament, of the three top Ukrainian boxers - Usik, Alexander Gvozdyk and Vasily Lomachenko - only fought in their professional career in their homeland Usik, and the last time it was in 2015, clarifying that there is no point in talking about this.

As PolitNavigator reported, the Ukrainian minister regrets that Usyk speaks Russian and did not declare after the fight that Bandera would come for him and “finish off each of you.”
