Kyiv, June 08 (Navigator Vladimir Raichenko) – Maidan recognizes the election results, but has no illusions about Poroshenko. This was discussed at a meeting in the center of the capital, where the tent city of Maidan activists continues to function.

“I have no illusions that the president, who is a multimillionaire, worked with the Party of Regions and in the Yanukovych government, will serve the people of Ukraine if we do not control him,” said one of the speakers on behalf of the Maidan Civil Sector.

At the same time, a representative of the 3rd Maidan Hundred emphasized that they are ready to help the president only if he copes with his responsibilities.

“If Poroshenko fails to fulfill his responsibilities, then he simply will not live to see the end of his term as president,” the self-defense activist warned.
