Kyiv, August 08 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) - President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko signed the Law on increasing the age limit for military reserve personnel who have experience in military service and can be used to supplement the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations.

The press service of the head of state reports this.

“In accordance with Law No. 1604-VII “On Amendments to Article 28 of the Law of Ukraine “On Military Duty and Military Service”, the age limit for those liable for military service in the reserve has been increased for the second category from 50 to 60 years for privates, sergeants, foremen, with 55 to 60 years old - for junior and senior officers, up to 65 years old - for senior officers,” says a message posted on the president’s website.

As Navigator reported, the third wave of mobilization has begun in Ukraine. In Kyiv they said that, first of all, volunteers should be called up.
